A leading creative organisation based in Leciester is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their large friendly and welcoming Finance team.
Assistant Accountant (Part Qualified)
- Part-qualified accountant (studying towards CIMA, ACCA, or AAT)
- Finance degree or equivalent qualification
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger
- Well-versed in Profit and Loss (P&L) statements
- Strong understanding of balance sheet management
- Prepare and analyse financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Liaise with other departments to gather necessary financial information
