SalaryOur client, a manufacturer of uPVC windows and doors with 7 trade counters located throughout Scotland and 3 in England is recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller based in Whitburn, West Lothian.
Founded in March 2019, our client is one of the largest manufacturers of uPVC windows and doors in Scotland.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage new accounts
- Ensuring outstanding accounts are collected
- Reconciliation of customer accounts
- Resolve queries with customers and branches
- Weekly debt reviews
- Forecast unexpected payments
- Update the database with the progress on outstanding accounts
- Raising credit paperwork and issuing copies of invoices and credits
- Chase and resolve debts
- Process funds, take payments, upload payments from branches, upload delivery notes, send statements
Skills and Experience
- Fast-moving debt collection experience
- Experience and understanding of billing systems
- Friendly and approachable telephone manner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Excel would be beneficial
An applicant who joins the team will be paid a competitive starting salary, receive 33 days of holiday each year (including some statutory ones) and work Monday through Thursday from 8 am to 5 pm (4 pm on Friday).
