SalaryNigel Wright are delighted to be recruiting an Accounts Assistant for our client in Newcastle. This role is permanent and based at the clients location Monday - Friday. There is flexibility if needed on start/finish times.
The role is 37.5 hours per week but can also consider candidates from 30 hours per week.
The Role:
Transactional processing, supporting operations, analysing & identify data, resolution finding.
The successful candidate will have the capability to find, challenge and resolve an array of elements.
- Weekly data upload and transfer to accounting system.
- Weekly reconciliations of PDQ and cash banking, investigating any discrepancies.
- Review of weekly cash expenses, matching to receipts providing and posting onto the system. Liaising about any paperwork not received.
- Monitoring figure variances.
- Preparation of the weekly reports.
- Liaising with operations and other departments as required.
- Raising monthly sales invoices
- Monthly review and analysis of ledgers for outstanding items.
As the ideal candidate:
- Accounting knowledge, ideally with partial AAT qualified or other relevant qualifications, but we would still welcome candidates who are qualified through experience.
- Solid knowledge systems, Excel used daily.
- Reconciliation experience.
