Credit Controller

Connect IT has partnered with a leading product distribution company who are looking to add a passionate and driven individual to its team! As a Finance Specialist, you will have previous Finance experience and a background in customer. Someone who is proactive with good attention to detail skills would be perfect for this role.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries regarding their accounts.
- Analyse creditworthiness for new and existing accounts, set terms, and propose credit limits.
- Manage customer accounts to maximise cash flow while minimising bad debt.
- Resolve invoice and payment issues efficiently.
- Generate and distribute customer statements and overdue notices.
- Proactively manage new accounts and high-value invoices.
- Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Handle reconciliation, customer portal management, and EDI integration.
- Generate reports on credit holds, stop payments, and other account statuses.

- Good understanding of end-to-end distribution business process and accounts role within it
