Job Description
- Managing and collecting debts from company debtors
- Reviewing credit applications and credit references to set credit limits
- Implementing strategies to recover owed money
- Maintaining contact with clients to ensure invoices are clear for payment
- Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices
- Posting and allocating daily receipts to accounting systems
- Providing accounts information to internal departments
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller should have:
- A strong background in Accounting & Finance
- Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail
- Strong skills in negotiation and communication
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
- Ability to work in a team and individually
- Understanding of data privacy standards and regulations
