This is a well established financial services business based in City of London. They provide high-quality expertise in insurance and business solutions for various sectors and businesses.
Due to recent growth, they are looking to hire a junior Credit Controller to join their progressive finance team.
Role
The Credit Controller for this financial services firm based in City of London, will work closely with the Senior AR Manager in providing support for debt reduction through credit control activities. They will take on a number of key duties including:
- Working closely with operational and finance teams in collection of debts.
- Work to various processes for Accounts Receivable that support company standards.
- Actively reduce overall debt, with a focus on the over 90 days aged debt.
- Ensure efficiency in the Accounts Receivable processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Improve cash flow and liaise across various business markets.
- Ensure month-end activities are delivered in line with the financial reporting.
- Support wider team in reconciling balance sheet accounts.
- Ability to manage workload in a fast paced environment.
Profile
The ideal profile for this exciting Credit Controller position, should have the following attributes:
- Ideally 1+ years of experience in a similar Credit Control / Accounts Receivable capacity
- Experience in collections
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally
- Good Excel skills
- Industry background in Insurance would be very beneficial
- Experience with ECF would be highly advantageous
Salary & Benefits
£28,000 to £33,000 plus benefits including:
