CREDIT RISK ANALYTICS MANAGER - SME LENDING

UP TO £90,000 + EQUITY

An exciting opportunity to help this SME lender in the optimisation of commercial and credit strategy for the business. This is a high impact role, providing innovation and autonomy to drive forward the business. They offer good flexibility to work from home and equity within the business.

THE COMPANY

This FinTech business lend to small businesses and have always had data science, ML, AI and advanced analytics at the forefront of their decision making and lending strategy. They are a growing business and have ambitious plans over the next few years, making it a great time to join.

THE ROLE

You can expect to be involved in the following day to day:

• Analysing consumer credit data from internal and external data sources
• Drive insight into portfolio performance, commentating on trends
• Improve all applicational and behavioural credit models
• Work closely with the data science team to push the importance of commercial strategy at the forefront of their credit modelling
• Action insights and continually develop and improve strategies for acquisitions, pricing and customer management
• Work closely with another manager in the team looking after a smaller loan sized product

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience as an analyst within a tech environment
• Experience in retail or SME lending
• Experience working on CREDIT RISK strategies
• Experience working with credit models
• SQL proficiency needed
• Be able to communicate with data scientists
• Top numerical university degree needed

SALARY AND BENEFITS

• Up to £90,000 base salary
• Equity
• Flexible working from home - 1 day a week in office is ideal
