The Role
Would you like to join a new and innovative service? Are you motivated by reducing custodial sentences for women with mental health issues and stopping the cycle of re offending? Are you interested in providing evidence based psychological assessment and therapy to people within the Criminal Justice System made subject to Community Sentence Treatment Requirements (CSTR)?
We wish to recruit a Criminal Justice Worker to deliver Mental Health Treatment Requirements. This post will work closely with our Criminal Justice partners, including prisons and courts, to deliver high quality services that support people whose offending is associated with mental health issues. They will also work to support clients to reduce co-existing substance use and offending behaviour, providing real opportunities for recovery and to reduce harm to communities and individuals.
