Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:45 - 17:15, 37 hours per week
Pay Rate: £13.69 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Advisor to join our clients team. In this role, you will primarily handle enquiries and complaints related to electoral services, with occasional assistance for other Council services. You will play a key role in delivering professional Customer Service and ensuring a positive experience for all our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide information, advice, and services to customers via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
- Resolve enquiries at the first point of contact whenever possible.
- Follow established procedures for logging, processing, and tracking customer enquiries.
- Handle applications and documentation for electoral services.
- Promote and support customers in using online council and partner services.
- Perform general administrative duties to support other service areas.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Proficient in using various software systems.
- Experience in Customer Service, preferably within a local authority setting.
- Ability to handle a high volume of enquiries in a busy environment.
