Our client is a leading IT solution provider and server system integrator based in Hertfordshire. A collection of companies with a group a turnover of >£100M and clients based around the world. Our client delivers in excess of 25,000 servers per year to their reseller partner network; a network with a reach including datacentre, enterprise, media & entertainment, education & academia and fintech and others.
The opportunity:
In the role of CRM Manager, you will be responsible for crafting and enhancing activities spanning multiple countries, audiences, and channels, all aimed at expanding our customer base. Your focus will involve delving into customer motivations and the conversion process from Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL) to Sales Qualified Leads (SQL), translating this knowledge into valuable, actionable insights. Your enthusiasm for Customer Relationship Management (CRM) will drive you to stay abreast of industry trends, equipping you to bring innovative ideas to meetings. Operating with a growth mindset, you'll execute tasks swiftly, adapt when necessary, and ensure that all activities are both measurable and scalable.
Accountabilities & Activities:
- Create and adjust CRM workflows that aim to increase customer/prospect loyalty
- Automate and optimise CRM based workflows and maximise opportunities to use these in place of more traditional methods
- Analyse customer journeys and look to increase sales as a result
- Develop customer insight and implementation of a segmentation strategy
- Use existing contact information to identify new potential customers and target audiences
- Understand previous customer attitudes to better engage current customers
- Coordinate marketing and sales efforts find ways to increase effectiveness
- Adopt new trends & strategies to expand the customer base such as upselling and cross selling
- Manage CRM change and integration requests following the documented approval process
- Oversee email marketing and automation, suggesting improvements to process and achievable results
- Work with marketing and sales team to develop and implement marketing technologies and processes related to lead qualification, scoring, nurturing and tracking within the CRM system
- Drive continual improvements in the efficacy of the CRM platform
- Deliver insight and analysis to improve business and communications decision-making
- Maintain data quality on the CRM and support others in the daily use of the CRM and other platforms/software
- Deliver weekly and monthly reports focusing on CRM campaigns and database performance, feeding results back to the wider business
- Own the relationship with CRM and email service provider, ensuring that all areas of the platform are optimised and used to their full potential
- Act as overflow support for emails
- Assist with the planning and delivery of events, sometimes travelling with over-night stays in the UK or abroad
- Assist in other areas of marketing as and when required
Required Skills:
- At least 3 years experience in CRM Manager role or similar
- Must have exposure to consulting and understand CX journeys
- Ideally have experience of using HubSpot or Sage X3 (other CRMs can be considered)
