St Helen’s Primary Academy is excited to be offering a fantastic opportunity to join us as a Curriculum Leader in Maths within our recently Ofsted graded GOOD school. At St Helen’s we are proud that our children have positive attitudes to learning, we deliver supportive leadership, and tailored professional learning opportunities. We have special and unique learning communities that are proud to serve the village of Monk Bretton and surrounding areas. Our staff commute not just from Barnsley, but from Wakefield, Doncaster, Sheffield and beyond.

Within close proximity of Meadstead Primary Academy and Shafton Primary Academy who are also part of our ‘Remarkable’ Academy Trust. We help and support each other and draw from shared expertise. 

The Role:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Curriculum Leader (Maths) who is creative, enthusiastic and experimental, who will be dedicated to our Academy and our children. We value highly motivated and determined professionals who will make a real difference, creating opportunities to instil the skills children need to go on to lead a remarkable life.

Skills and experience we are seeking: 

  • Subject specialism in Maths
  • Previous Curriculum Leadership is advantageous, however we are open to application from those with a maths specialism looking to progress into Curriculum Leadership/ development
  • Experienced and skilled Primary Teacher across KS1 and KS2.
  • Passion and desire to find creative ways to deliver an outstanding maths curriculum to all children within the school
