Job Title: Curriculum Manager- AEB Skills Programmes
• Salary £36,750 - £40,700

• Location: Nottingham (with occasional travel across East Midlands)
Job Summary:
As a Curriculum Manager, you will lead a delivery team within the Skills Division to provide an exceptional learning experience. Working closely with the engagement and quality teams, you will manage curriculum delivery, drawing on your expertise and knowledge of education funding contracts and compliance processes.
Key Responsibilities of the Curriculum Manager
• Ensure the Curriculum Team comprehensively understands the curriculum offer, qualifications, and delivery models.
• Collaborate with the Engagement Team to align the curriculum offer with local and regional stakeholder and employer needs.
• Manage Curriculum Team workload to meet expectations within financial budgets.
• Optimise classroom resources through clear timetabling and delivery schedules.
• Provide effective leadership, coaching, and development to ensure outstanding professional practice.
• Offer high-quality advice, onboarding, and personalized learning plans to learners.
• Work closely with the Data & Funding team to ensure compliance with funding rules.
• Attend Quality Performance Clinic meetings to review and evaluate delivery quality.
• Monitor learner progress using data, intervening and supporting where necessary.
• Conduct joint practice observations with the Advanced Practitioner team.
• Collaborate with Internal Quality Assurers to maintain assessment standards.
• Drive continuous improvement to meet external stakeholders' expectations.
Essential Requirements of the Curriculum Manager:
• Possess a degree level qualification or equivalent, accompanied by a recognized teaching qualification.
• Demonstrate a successful track record in leading curriculum activities across Government Training Programmes, with a particular focus on Adult Education Budget (AEB) Programmes.
• Have comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in Adult Education Budget (AEB) Programmes, including funding regulations and budget management.
• Show evidence of effectively managing performance through both remote and face-to-face interactions, ensuring high standards are maintained.
• Previous experience with Multiply programmes would be highly advantageous and desirable for this role.
• Possess a strong understanding of funding rules within the context of Adult Education Budget (AEB) programmes.
• Demonstrate proficiency in managing staff involved in AEB, Multiply, and UKSPF programmes, ensuring efficient operations and delivery.
• Hold a full, clean driver's license, as frequent travel across the East Midlands region will be required for this role.
