Customer and Administration Officer - Brighton based

We are looking for a wonderful new team member to join our team here in Brighton. You will administer and manage our contract workforce and related suppliers, keeping them compliant and well-functioning. This is an excellent opportunity to have a real impact while working with an experienced and supportive team.

On any given day in this role, you will spend time working on the following:

  • Communication; you'll be communicating with colleagues, contractors, partners, and our clients on a daily basis using a variety of tools. Strong written skills, inbox management and the confidence to communicate both in writing and verbally appropriately with people at all levels of an organisation is key.
  • Relationship building; bringing positivity, professionalism, and active listening to all your interactions to help proactively manage our team of growing Contractors. Anticipating questions, finding great resolutions, and knowing when to escalate or consult experts for advice.
  • Teamwork: you'll support the Interim team to manage onboarding new contractors, renewing existing contracts and providing administrative support for all functions of our contractor life cycle. Familiarity with HR process, contracts and or financial processes would be helpful in this role.
  • GDPR & compliance: you'll be the main point of contact for any compliance requests and will help keep our filing system organised, compliant and up to date.
  • Organisation: you'll be the lynchpin that keeps everything running smoothly. A sought-after member of the team you'll be keeping track of multiple routine tasks and deadlines, keeping the team informed on any upcoming reminders, actions, or contract updates.
  • Attention to detail: you'll spend much of your time handling complex administrative documents, contracts, systems, and processes to get new contractors placed and onboarded. Meticulous proof reading and focus is required to ensure our contracts are perfect, our onboarding process is slick and the information we send is faultless. You'll need to have focus and determination to maintain these highest standards during peak times where you are onboarding multiple contractors at a time.

You will receive full support and training, being provided with every opportunity to succeed in this position. Proactivity and commercial awareness will be rewarded with the chance to develop both personally and professionally.

Once you're comfortable with the day-to-day duties, you'll enjoy increased responsibility working autonomously to streamline processes and develop this role.

Strong administrative experience, multitasking skills and a positive approach to problem solving are required to keep everything running smoothly.
