Contract: 12 months

Rate: GBP12.66 per hour PAYE

Hours: 13.5 per week

Location: Sandhurst Extra The Meadows Marshall Road Sandhurst GU47 0FD

• Saturday 9.00 -4.30pm
• Sunday 10am-4pm
• Holiday cover/ any absence

My leading multinational retailer client are looking for individuals interested in helping out in store, welcoming customers and engaging in taste tests and panels with them. A great part-time opportunity with a community centred approach, we'd encourage those who can confidently engage and speak with others to apply. Full training for this role is provided, previous experience in a customer facing role would be necessary.

Key Role and Daily Tasks

Recruiting shoppers from the stores and inviting them to take part in blind tastings.

Preparing the food for the tasting. Ensure that safe and legal protocols are always adhered to.

Working within a team of people either in store or in mobile locations to conduct untrained customer panels on various products.

• Includes recruiting customers, using questionnaires and asking questions face to face to gather responses on the performance of various products
• Working methodically to follow methods & routines & using the correct tools to handle, prepare & cook both raw & cooked products for presentation to customers
• Working to achieve team targets & deliver department workload by contributing equally & supporting colleagues
• Recording & presenting data accurately on databases & spreadsheets
• Attending planned training days & achieving the required pass score to ensure skills & knowledge are maintained
• Checking company branded products against specification for visual, intrinsic & sensory quality tests
• Supporting the Quality Team by conducting other ad-hoc customer testing when requested
• Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence

Skills & Qualifications

• Friendly, engaging and happy to talk to people and welcome them in store
• Able to hold conversation and suggest products, take notes and feedback
• Excellent customer approach,
• Previous experience in a customer engagement environment is necessary.
• IT skills an advantage (for tracking info and results)
• Full training will be provided including food hygiene course
