Our client, a well-known Car Finance company are seeking Customer Collection Agents to join them on a Collections Project.
The right candidate will enjoy supporting and making a difference to vulnerable customers aiding them through the steps of managing missed payments. You will require strong communication and empathy skills to build strong relationships.

Rate: £25,000 - £30,000 DOE plus annual bonus
Location: Manchester City Tower
Work Pattern: A 12 week in office training period, once accredited you will work a 3 week shift rotational pattern - one week in the office, one week at home and every third week Monday - Thursday in office and Friday - Saturday working from home.

Your day-to-day activities
- Dealing with inbound (mainly) and outbound calls from customers who are experiencing financial difficulties.
- Having great conversations with customers to find suitable payment solutions for any missed payments.
- Setting up payment plans and working with other specialist teams to support the customer.
- Displaying compassion and understanding towards customers in vulnerable circumstances
- Recording conversations and administrative actions within the relevant systems
- Reviewing processes which could be automated or enhanced to improve the customer and business experience.
- Identify and raise any risks with your line manager.
Skills & Experience required:
- Minimum 12 months proven collections experience within financial services
- Experience of Motor Finance or Secured lending collections would be a distinct advantage.
· Experience taking customers through income & expenditure forms is essential.
· Excellent communication and listening skills, both verbal and written to effectively interact with our customers.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles and understanding different ways of supporting our customers
- A desire to support our customers to improve their financial health.
- Ability to proactively manage and prioritise caseload in line with KPIs.
