We are looking for a Customer Relations Specialist to join an international company in Gillingham, Dorset.
Joining the team as Customer Relation Specialist, you are responsible for execution of the SLS Customer Relations process according to the internal policies and practices.
In this position you manage and process customer orders and quotes, provide information about products, services and order status. You will be involved in improvement initiatives, comfortable to challenge processes and seek new opportunities to increase Customer Relations efficiently.
What you will do:-
- Deal directly with customer inquiries received via all medias (e.g. fax, web, email)
- Respond to customer inquiries according to SL agreement
- Proactively look for solutions to customer issues
- Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle inquiries. Follow up on customer interactions.
- File records of customer interactions and transactions
- Record details of inquiries, comments and complaints within quality management system. Manage administration
- Communicate and coordinate with internal departments
- Proposes ideas for processes & organizational improvements
- May consult the manager for making decisions upon needs
- Demonstrate the company’s values in your daily routine

What you will receive
Hours of work for this position are Monday – Friday 9.00am – 17.30pm initially. There will be a minimum of 4 weeks in the office to complete training, then there is the potential to work hybrid to include a minimum of 2 days in the office each week.
After the initial training, two days per week are flexible by arrangement to start at 8:00am – 16.30pm or 8:30am -17.00pm.
This role starts temporarily and will be reviewed for a permanent position after 3 months.
