The Finance Manager will bey a key appointment to lead and develop the team, driving overall financial success of the business.
The key duties and responsibilities will include:
• Lead and oversee the finance team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure optimal performance and development.
• Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company’s goals and objectives.
• Manage the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with senior management to provide strategic financial insights.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
• Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
The main candidate will be a fully qualified who can demonstrate proven experience leading a team, being able to motivate and develop junior finance colleagues. You will be experienced working with a larger business and will have a strong understanding of GAAP.
Our client requires someone with excellent communication skills who is able to effectively work alongside and present to director level as well as non financial stakeholders within the business.
