Customer Sales Advisor

Jewson Newbury is on the hunt for a Customer Sales Advisor who's as passionate about great service as we are!

This is an exciting and varied role covering all areas of sales and customer service in our busy builders merchant branch. You'll find yourself building relationships with customers and driving sales in branch, as well as tidying a replenishing the shop!

Hours : 7.30-5.00 Monday-Friday and every other Saturday morning 8-12

Location: Hambridge Rd, Newbury RG14 5EA

Key Responsibilities of a Jewson Customer Sales Advisor:

• Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions in line with our Jewson values

• Develop great relationships with new and existing customers (both face to face and over the phone), understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible

• Dealing with lapsed accounts and generating sales with new and existing customers

• Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise delivery times, and keep customers updated throughout their journey

• Keep the branch and looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers

• Maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts

• Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement

Required Skills and Experience:

• Previous industry experience preferred but not essential

• Experience in a customer facing/sales environment

• Passion for working with people

• Flexible with a positive can-do attitude
