Ceramex Ltd is part of the global Hexadex group of engineering companies and is growing international supplier of technology and services for the remanufacturing and cleaning of Diesel Particulate Filters (DPFs) from the exhausts of heavy-duty vehicles. Global clean air legislation requires DPFs to be regularly cleaned to minimise a vehicle’s exhaust pollution.
Our facilities are based in Reading.
We have created this role is to coordinate the end-to-end process of customer enquiry to order fulfilment within the New customer product framework at Ceramex. Working with the sales team to ensure customer requirements are properly understood and translated into successful new product introductions on time and to budget.
This role requires working cross functionally with the respective internal stakeholders, planning at all stages of the customer order cycle.
The role
- Gathering customer requirements and translating them into actionable responses
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure responses are delivered in the agreed timescales.
- Routinely monitor and report on the activity status of the required work packages
- Plan and prioritise activities to ensure customer requirements are met on time.
- Identify and resolve resource constraints within the New customer process / cycle
- Support the sales team with a plan of at what stage the customer journey is and quotation responses
- Work with our teams including Quality, Production, HR, H&S, Finance to ensure we deliver improved and excellent service to our customers
- Participate in customer projects meetings as required.
- Communicates with customers on a regular basis and in the required professional manner
- Highlight risks and develop mitigation measures with the stakeholders.
About you
- Has a background spent within service, supply chain, planning. maybe projects within Customer sales and service.
- Process driven and can be the link from customer to production, mitigating any risks and obstructions to deliver a seamless service.
- Communication effectively both verbal and in person with internal customers, production, supply chain, sales, and the customer. Builds the relationships and able to provide solutions.
- This role may involve some international and EU travel in the future, so flexibility is essential.
- Self-motivated and driven to deliver solutions and a great customer experience.
- Proficient with using MS suite, including excel and PowerPoint, gan charts.
