Customer Service Administrator - Maintenance, Salary: Up to GBP28k + Benefits and career opportunities, Based: Hybrid remote with a minimum of 2 days in the Gravesend office.
We require a Customer Service Administrator to work for a leading company who specialise in the hire and sale of portable cabins / accommodation and associated products. The purpose of the role is to provide Customer Service and administrative support within the services Planning teams.
This position could therefore suit candidates from a Transport Administrator, Service Coordinator, Scheduler, Service Administrator, Maintenance Administrator, Planning Administrator / Planner or similar fast paced environment background.
Main responsibilities:
- Log calls for support service onto the system.
- Raise purchase orders for support service engineers.
- Confidently handling internal / customer telephone queries (e.g. Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) for units en route to customer) and problem solving.
- Ensuring customers are updated at all times of the progress of their Maintenance issue.
- Provide an administrative function in the provision of planning, installation, decommissioning, site support and emergency breakdowns.
- Be proficient in the use of systems to deliver workable solution that meets our customer s requirements.
- Liaise with mobile engineers to resolve customer issues, or forward to the Regional Service Managers or branches depending on type of issue. i.e. customer related/breakdowns.
- Liaise with transport regarding install/dis-mantles within an agreed timely manner.
- Liaise closely with Technical Support on all installs/dismantles ensuring agreed work streams are reached.
Candidate Requirements:
- Ability to plan / schedule engineers and vehicles efficiently and effectively
- Ideally have experience in a Transport Administrator, Service Coordinator, Scheduler, Service Administrator, Maintenance Administrator, Planning Administrator / Planner or similar role.
- Geographical knowledge
- A good level of skill in Microsoft Office products and I.T systems in general
- Ideally have an understanding and knowledge of current regulations in regarding to Working Time Directive
- Ability to handle a high volume of telephone calls
- Familiar with working in a high-pressure environment with the ability to plan, organise and think on your feet.
