Our Client is Northern Powergrid, based in Stockton. Their vision is to be the best energy company in serving their customers whilst delivering sustainable energy solutions. They are looking for an Administrator to support them within their team.

The successful candidate must have good attention to detail, have the ability to manage a high workload and work well within a team. Proficient IT skills are essential as you will be required to work between a number of different IT systems. Part of the role is quite technical and requires someone who has good judgement. This position would suit a candidate who will go the extra mile, enjoys variety within the workplace can adapt their working style as most days can be different to the next.
Duties will include:
- Data input
- Working to strict deadlines to meet the company's standard
- Call customers to discuss their application requirements
- management of records.
- General Administration
- Processing purchase orders and service provider payments
- Working on our in-house systems and applications and utilising all Microsoft office products
- Database management and record keeping
- Liaising with internal colleagues, contractors, local authority and customers
- Production of documentation/work instructions
- Identifying new and improving current processes to support our colleagues and customers
- Building strong relationships across our teams
The hours of work are 8:30am to 4:40pm (37 hours per week) Monday to Friday. The company offer free onsite parking and are based on a business park. Due to the location of the office we'd recommend you have your own transport.

- Customer service experience
- Previous experience of working with in an office environment.
- Minimum qualification of 5 GCSEs at grades 4/C or above OR NVQ L2
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office
