The following criteria are essential for this role
- Experience carrying out Reception duties in a busy office environment
- Experience carrying out Switchboard duties in a busy office environment
- Experience with general administration, including but not limited to incoming/outgoing post, filing, etc
- Problem solving abilities
- Customer service skills
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office products, especially Word and Excel
What will your role as a Customer Service Administrator look like?
- Reception duties, including building and depot access calls, greeting visitors professionally, ensuring that each is signed in/out and contacting host
- Telephone switchboard duties, including answering calls professionally and distributing calls to relevant staff by set guidelines
- Mailroom activities, including distribution of incoming mail, collation of outgoing mail in readiness for collection and booking courier services
- General administrative support to the Operations and Customer Service team
- Develop professional relationships with internal and external customers and provide high levels of Customer Service at all times
- Take ownership of and deal with/resolve customer queries in a professional manner
- Pro-actively promote the company at all times
- Communicate effectively with other colleagues to ensure high levels of Customer Service are maintained at all times
- Ensure all activities are executed following the Company s Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures
- Supporting the depot operations team with the booking out of transport using the Company s nominated software system
- Liaising with and recording transport and courier bookings, verifying movements and delivery/collection times and checking and approving invoices
- Perform any other duties as may be reasonably requested by the UK Operations Manager
