A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Customer Service Administrator to join my client in Durham on an ongoing full-time, temporary basis.
Your new role
As the administrator, you will provide support to the management team and other senior staff as necessary to provide smooth and effective administrative support within a busy and diverse, multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities of the role will include:
To provide efficient and effective administrative support on a daily basis to the management team, and where appropriate to other senior members of staff.Generate a strong focus on customer retention, development of customers and build strong relationships with all internal and external customers.Answer and record all inbound calls and handle conclusion of all correspondence received within given timescales. Ensure prompt resolution of complaints and carry out proactive Customer Service activity as directed.Consistently deliver on work processes and quality.To deal in a professional, tactful and discreet manner with sensitive and confidential matters, ensuring that confidentiality is maintained at all times.Plan and organise own time and prioritise own workload around deadlines.What you'll need to succeedSkills and knowledge in the use of Microsoft Packages e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.The ability to organise and prioritise own workload with minimal supervision.Previous administrative experience in a busy environment with competing demands.Experience in a Customer Service role with basic commercial awareness.Excellent communication skills.Highly organised, determined and methodicalWorks with initiativeWhat you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
