Customer Service Advisor needed with Slough Borough Council

Duration - initially 3 months
Hoursperweek - 35 hours per week
Salary - 13.06ltd per hour
Slough Borough Council are actively seeking a Customer Service Advisor to work within their Adult's Learning team which is primarily based in Slough however there may be the requirement to also work across Windsor and Maidenhead.
Description:
- Customer advisors are the first point of contact for all adult learning enquires through email, telephone, letter, and personal contact.
- Customer support officers must respond to enquiries from learners and staff, including tutors and managers, for the benefit of the service, in a timely manner.
- As a customer advisor you will give informed advice and information to members of the public about learning opportunities available through the East Berkshire Community Learning and Skills Service and signpost learners to other providers and services available.
- Customer support assistants will assist in the enrolment process throughout the year, advising learners on the completion of enrolment forms, ensuring all sections are complete, collecting fees, issuing of receipts, filing records, and entering enrolments accurately on to the management information (MIS) system.
What is required?
- 5 GCSEs, 'A' Levels A to C or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience in a customer facing role
