Who You Are: You are a customer-oriented individual with experience in a call/contact centre or customer-facing role that maintains the highest standard of Customer Service. You are familiar with working within a team environment and can easily operate within in a social care, health, education or advice and guidance environment. You have the exceptional ability to speak clearly and concisely when dealing with customer enquiries, remaining polite, tactful and accepting constructive feedback for continual improvement. You are responsible and accountable for your actions, and you have a strong knowledge of Liverpool as a city and its local services. It would be desirable if you possess an ICS Qualification/NVQ in Customer Care or equivalent and have completed some soft skills training. An understanding of Care Act 2014 wellbeing principles is also beneficial. What the Job Involves: As a Customer Service Advisor, your job primarily involves delivering accessible, world-class quality services to all customers as their primary point of contact. Furthermore, you are responsible to identify at-risk situations and comply with Safeguarding Adults procedures and Making Safeguarding Personal guidance. Your role entails directing people to online resources, offer advice and guidance on a range of Children's/Adult Social Care Services, contributing to process improvements for customer access and promoting a positive image of Liverpool City Council. You will also assist with administering tasks related to customer contact, maintaining records, files and statistical information. You are obliged to comply with the company's policy in relation to non-discriminatory practices and ensure your work complies with all legislations and safety regulations.
