A skilled and driven Customer Service Advisor is needed to join our team at 3D Autokeys, a family business primarily focused on the auto locksmith sector based in Nottingham on a full-time basis.
We're a locally run family business with over 30 years of experience in the locksmith trade. We offer a low-cost and convenient car locksmith service that can come to you anywhere within a 50-mile radius of our head office in Nottingham.
Successful candidates will be required to work 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday. These hours may be varied and extended beyond the normal hours according to the business requirements.

Our fleet of auto locksmiths is highly trained and fully insured, so you can always trust our professionalism and service standards. We aim to respond to enquiries as quickly as possible, and we aim to solve 99.9% of issues on the same day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as primary contact for customers by handling incoming product and service requests
- Complete enquiries at the point of sale where possible, accurately and efficiently
- Provide excellent service to the satisfaction of all customers
- Become fully conversant with all functions of the bespoke IT platform
- Comply with all relevant internal processes and procedures
- Ensure optimum levels of productivity are always being met
- Confident telephone manner and all-round communication skills
- Flexibility within the various roles within the team
- Maximise all commercial opportunities for the business
- Actively promote best practices and innovative solutions to the business
- Ensure proactive communication to all areas within the group
- Undertakes self-development and training to enhance skills to ensure achievement of both personal and business goals
- Ability to work under own initiative and within a team
- Hands-on processing of customer orders
- Consistently apply and demonstrate vehicle manufacturer and model knowledge
Required Skills:
- Some understanding of auto locksmith services, including key cutting, transponder programming, and lockout solutions
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, to understand customer needs and provide appropriate guidance
- Skill in quickly assessing customer issues and providing accurate, practical solutions
- Strong commitment to customer satisfaction, emphasising creating a positive experience
- Precision in managing details, particularly when handling key codes, car models, and service options
- Capacity to handle stressful or emergency situations with a calm demeanour, showing empathy to customers in distress
- Ability to upsell or cross-sell services where appropriate without being overly aggressive
- Efficiently managing multiple tasks or customer inquiries, ensuring prompt and reliable service
