Page Group are delighted to be working in exclusive partnership with a leading manufacturer who export across Europe, Middle & Far East. As the business head in to an exciting period of growth, they are looking to appoint a new Customer Services & Export Manager to lead them in implementing new ways of working in a new market area. The role will report to key directors within the business and will oversee and directly manage a team of 5fte
Description
- Directly lead and manage a team of 5fte across Customer Service, responsible for end to end process, from order processing, through to dispatch, delivery and Export
- Provide the team with all the tools provide an excellent level of service to both UK & International customers
- Work closely with production to create a dispatch plan, identify any upcoming issues and manage customer expectations regards lead times
- Manage all export activities across the business in line with key regulation and compliance, providing training and development to the team
- Work with 3rd party carriers and freight forwarders, managing contractual and commercial agreements, making sure service levels and customer satisfaction is prioritised
- Where required, identify and negotiate with new carriers and freight forwarders, ensuring commercial viability and service level expectations are achieved
- Provide support to the sales functions function with pricing, quotations and customer on-boarding
- Work collaboratively with key business areas including finance, sales & production to ensure a consistency is provided to customers across the board
- Continuously review and identify areas for improvement and progression around process and procedures, improving productivity, cost efficiency and customer satisfaction

The role of Customer Services & Export Manager will join a market leading manufacturer who export globally.
The role will be based in the Wakefield area, situated close to J40 of the M1 and between Wakefield & Dewsbury.
This will be fully on site, Monday to Friday
Salary on offer GBP40,000 - GBP45,000 plus bonus
