Job Responsibilities/Duties
Working at County Supplies in the Customer Services Team, your main duties will include data entry, answering the phones, dealing with a varied range of customer queries / requests via email & general administrative duties. This covers areas such as:
- Replacing faulty items
- Liaising with our Buying Team
- Working closely with our warehouse and delivery team
- Completing stock checks in our warehouse to resolve missing item queries
- Arranging to collect and credit items ordered in error
- Setting up customer accounts
- Issuing customers with copy invoices and discussing overdue invoices
With a polite, confident telephone manner you will have experience of data entry and a good knowledge of O365 apps such as Microsoft Word / Excel / Outlook / SharePoint / Access. Excellent numeracy and literacy skills are required as well as a methodical approach. You'll also need an ability to meet deadlines while working under pressure and a willingness to work as part of a team. Transactional experience of SAP is an advantage and experience of a distribution or warehousing environment would be beneficial but is not essential. There is a lot to learn about our service, through great training and coaching we will support you to meet the needs of our customers.
Essential knowledge, skills & experience:
You will be able to demonstrate:
- Previous general administrative experience with specific experience where appropriate Computer literate in the use of a variety of software, including intermediate knowledge of O365 apps such as Microsoft Word / Excel / Outlook / SharePoint with a willingness to undertake new programs
- Where appropriate, specialist training and qualifications
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
- Experience of working in a customer care environment with an understanding of customer care and its importance
- Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities
- Proven ability to meet deadlines
- Experience of working as part of a team
- Experience of data entry
- Flexibility to meet demands of business
- A willingness to question how things are done and put forward fresh ideas for new ways of thinking
Desirable knowledge, skills & experience:
You will be able to demonstrate:
- Knowledge of Access databases, primarily for customer record maintenance and catalogue distribution scheduling Experience of using transactional SAP
- Debt monitoring experience
- Previous Warehouse and Distribution environment experience
