We have 2 temporary positions available for 6 months, one in the Customer Access Team and one in the Registrations Team, both are 37 hours per week.
You will be required to support customers by explaining the range of housing options available to them and assist them with their housing registration. This will be in-person at our First Point Property Shop reception and also back-office over the telephone and via email. You will also help to maintain the housing register by processing new applications and updating and renewing existing registrations.
You'll need to keep calm under pressure and have a positive and flexible attitude to what the day brings, ensuring our residents, customers and work colleagues feel listened to and valued.
You will join a hard-working and flexible team and be given full training, so that you can confidently answer all rehousing queries.

Full-time employees work 37 hours for 52 weeks of the year and we offer a generous holiday entitlement. We are open to discussions about a wide range of flexible working opportunities which benefit you and the Council, including reduced hour contracts, working part time or as a job share.
If appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
