Customer Service Assistant - Libraries

As a Customer Service Assistant - Libraries, you will play a key role in delivering a first-class customer experience to library users. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

• Assisting customers with library enquiries, helping them find and borrow books, and providing information on library services
• Processing library memberships and handling book reservations
• Supporting the smooth running of library events and activities
• Maintaining a welcoming and tidy library environment

To excel in this role, you should have:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of customers
• A friendly and approachable manner, always willing to go the extra mile to assist library users
• Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Basic IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
