Customer Service Team Leader£25,000 - £30,000, Burgess Hill, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, 23days + Bank Holidays, PensionThe RoleOur client, an established and growing business in the renewable energy sector, are going through a rapid expansion and hiring a Customer Service Team Leader to join their team. Working in a busy role, you will be responsible for overseeing a Technical Support team as well as looking after customers in relation to their renewable energy installations. This role is a real blend of leadership and technical support. Some duties include:Create and maintain FAQs, technical articles, support guides, and application notes for customers.Lead and manage the Technical Support Team to effectively handle customer demands and workload.Review, initiate, and implement changes to systems and processes to enhance Customer Service.Stay updated on new product features and ensure knowledge sharing within the team.Ensure accurate and up-to-date CRM records and encourage best practices within the team.Take ownership of technical support tickets, ensuring high-quality and timely resolutions.Provide administrative support to the team and assist with daily operations.Handle phone calls, respond to emails, and address customer enquiries.Schedule appointments for remedial work with our electricians/roofers.Manage, develop, and facilitate training for the Technical Support team.Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth workflow and efficient communication.RequirementsThe successful Customer Service Team Leader will have experience in a technical support role as well as in a Team Leader / management capacity. You will be proficient in training, knowledge sharing, documentation and process management. Some experience in renewables or renewable energy would be advantageous, but not essential as training in this will be given to those who have the relevant technical support and team leading experience. This role could suit someone who has works as a Customer Service Team Leader, call centre supervisor or technical support manager.Company InformationOur client is a rapidly expanding business in the renewable energy sector.
