An Online Retailer are hiring a Team Leader/Manager to look after a small team of 5 Customer Service advisors. Mon - Fri 9-5.30 (flexible start/finish available), no weekend working.
THE COMPANY
An Online Retailer are looking to hire a Team Leader/Manager to be responsible for the day-to-day management of a small team of 5 Customer Service advisors. The team covers a mixture of Phone, Email and Social but most enquiries are Email based. The team works Mon-Fri 9-5.30 - there’s no weekend work or nightshifts and the start/finish times can be adjusted earlier or later to help you achieve a good work/life balance. They work out of a converted barn set in beautiful countryside commutable from Burnley, Blackburn, Bradford, Colne, Halifax, Hebden Bridge, Preston, Skipton, and surrounding areas.
THE ROLE
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of 5 Customer Service advisors, acting as the first point of contact for any escalations.
- Making sure everyone’s workloads are properly managed, keeping an eye on targets, and carrying out performance reviews every month, quarter, and year.
- Coaching the team to respond to questions and complaints and troubleshoot problems with services or products.
- Preparing reports.
- The business is investing into new technologies and ways of working including Knowledge Databases and ChatBots and in the next couple of months a new CRM system (Zendesk) and customer returns portal will be going live too. So lots of new stuff coming up to make the team’s life easier and you can get involved in the training and roll out of these systems too.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role you will need demonstrable experience of working in Customer Service, with some experience of training, coaching, supervising, or managing others either officially or unofficially. You will have excellent written communication skills, organisational skills, and good attention to detail. Due to their location, you will need access to a car.
