Customer Services Team Leader

Up to £35,000 + 10% Bonus + Benefits
As a result of impressive sustained commercial growth across both UK and international markets, a proactive Customer Services Team Leader with strong European language skills and experience of working within the logistics industry, is required to join a leading, fast-growing supplier of textile accessory brands to the business-to business personalisation industry.
As the home of four leading textile brands, each with their own unique identity and philosophy, our client has established themselves as the go-to brand for quality, innovative products in the rebrandable accessories market.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Fulfilment Manager and the Fulfilment team members as well as other adjacent teams who collectively have accountability for creating a great service to our customer.
You will support the rest of the team in the delivery of their duties, deputise for the team manager in their absence, and take on developmental projects to improve procedures and processes within the department.
Key Responsibilities



  • Embody and promote our client's core values of Respect, Teamwork, Passion, and Progress in all your dealings, both externally and internally.

  • Ensure day-to-day workflow of the team are achieved.

  • Ensure our SLAs are achieved for each key account/customer

  • Enable individual, team and business objectives are achieved

  • Support team members in developing in role and supporting the personal development of more experience team members.

  • Feedback any issues and developing trends to our Fulfilment Manager /Customer Services Manager while they are away

  • Deliver and analyse suite of reports on a weekly and monthly basis

  • Ensure staff are happy, engaged and have everything they need to succeed.

  • The role may involve some UK/European travel to customers, trade exhibitions and our 3PL sites



Skills & Experience



  • Experience of working in a similar Customer Services environment, ideally in a manufacturing/logistics business.

  • Experience of working in a B2B business in a customer support role.

  • An understanding of how to lead and develop a team, ideally in a Team Leader capacity

  • Speak one or more European languages fluently as well as speaking/writing English fluently

  • IT literate especially in Microsoft 365 platform

  • Experience of working with a CRM and ERP systems, with PRIMA usage being very desirable.

  • Has managed relationships with key accounts in the European market.

  • Able to demonstrate experience of creative problem solving and taking initiative to resolve problems and emerging issues.

  • Studied beyond GCSE level, whether this was academic or vocational courses.

  • A qualification or courses relating to Customer Services would be advantageous ,but not essential.
