I have partnered with my client who are currently on the lookout for a Customer Support Engineer. The job, based in Stockport, is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and skilled engineer to come and make the position their own by having a lot of autonomy to perform the role.
Supporting customers who buy their product, you will be training them to be able to use the product efficiently. This role will be ideal for someone who has the ability and is willing to travel as there is potential for significant travel abroad.
Responsibilities:
- Writing and revising manuals.
- Providing technical support to the shop floor.
- Providing input to approving concessions.
- Holding training sessions.
- Liaising with customers and key stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Diagnostics, maintenance and repair of bridging equipment and supporting vehicles in the field.
- Compliance with and monitoring of statutory regulations
Experience:
- Ideally you will have experience working with the 16-girder bridge system.
- Qualified maintenance technician, certified technician or equivalent or time served fitter/mechanic.
- Ability to lead and train multicultural teams.
- MS Office
- QSMI course/Field Sergeant (Beneficial)
