Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Resolving technical problems as required in accordance with service level agreements.
- Installing and updating business approved software packages.
- Supporting end users with setting up and configuring equipment.
- Minimising operational downtime.
- Developing and implement scheduled maintenance.
- Creating and maintaining support documentation as required.
- Compliance with GDPR across all touchpoints.
- Recommending computer products or applications.
- Maintaining IT Asset Registers for Hardware and Applications used in the business.
- Performing ad-hoc additional duties as required by the business.
The Successful Applicant
Qualifications for a successful IT Support Engineer:
- 1st/2nd Line Support experience
- Maintaining Hardware/Telephony systems
- Acting as primary contact for any IT Issues
- Problem-solving skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- Diagnosing and repairing software / hardware problems
- Customer service skills
