Customer Support Manager - Southampton - Hybrid role working from home 2 days a week

£45,000-£55,000 + bonus and outstanding benefits package

We are currently seeking an astute and systematic Customer Support Manager to join a fantastic client of ours based in Southampton. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Customer Operations and Logistics Manager to oversee and empower a team of Customer Support Specialists. Your primary objective will be to ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service across all touchpoints, while also providing guidance and training to enhance team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support a team of Customer Support Specialists, ensuring they deliver outstanding service as the primary point of contact for customers.
• Drive first-class customer service across various channels, including eBusiness, onsite consignment stock, direct ordering, and distribution, while efficiently managing queries and enhancing the overall customer experience.
• Process customer purchase orders accurately and efficiently through SAP, proactively resolving any issues that may arise and liaising with other departments as necessary.
• Manage invoice processing through relevant eProcurement platforms, including setting up new pricing in SAP and updating eProcurement catalogues.
• Maintain and update CRM systems regularly to track customer issues, queries, and relevant sales information.
• Collaborate with sales teams on pricing requests and new eProcurement onboarding, providing necessary support and guidance.
• Assist with onsite consignment stock administration, including the creation of sales reports, and work with the Logistics Manager to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to implement effective business solutions.
• Provide support for various IT systems, including SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, and eBusiness platforms.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong IT skills, including proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships quickly, both internally and externally.
• Proven leadership abilities with a focus on guiding and developing team members.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify areas for improvement and drive business enhancements.
