The Role-
The Customer Support Manager oversees the daily administration of customer-related matters. They supervise Customer Support Coordinators and ensure prompt resolution of ongoing customer issues. Additionally, they assign resources, including Customer Service Operatives and contractors, for tasks at customers’ homes.
- Administration and management of the team
- Management of Contractors and Customer Support Operatives
- Management of CRM’s diaries
- Data capture and reporting
Oversee and distribute the workload among the Customer Support team. Delegate daily responsibilities to the CSCs and regulate the flow of phone and email inquiries to ensure equitable and efficient customer assistance.
Uphold appropriate timelines for customer remediation efforts and maintain transparent communication with customers throughout any home-related processes. Handle instances of unsuccessful or inadequate issue resolution for customers, escalating as necessary.
Provide data to the Head of Customer Support at scheduled intervals or as needed.
Experience and Qualifications
- Experience in housebuilding or a related industry
- Previous experience in direct customer service interactions
- Capability to work autonomously, prioritise tasks, and show initiative
- Proficiency in managing internal relationships and effectively addressing challenges when necessary
