The UK Space Agency (UKSA) is an executive agency of the Department for Science, Innovation & Technology (DSIT) and provides technical advice on the government’s space strategy, supporting the UK space sector to deliver the government’s vision.

Working as part of the UK Space Agency Resilience Programme team and in close partnership with the DSIT Space Directorate, the post holder will be primarily responsible for exploring a suitable framework or standard for cyber security and resilience of space services and what assurance of the implementation government could undertake.

Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing the CNI regulatory cyber security landscape across all sectors for potential adoption or adaption into the Space sector.
• Engaging and consulting with key partners including the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and Critical Infrastructure leads across Government to identify standard
• Developing any proposal for implementation and assessment of compliance.
• Work with DSIT Space Directorate on the strategic assessment of risks to the sector.
• Provide secretariat support to the DSIT Space Senior Risk Owners Working Group.
