Essential Requirements: Excellent housekeeping experience to 5 * standard. Great attention to detail. Good team player, flexible, with confident communication skills and excellent spoken English. Driver with own car essential.
Part residence, rural property in Southwest Wiltshire requires an experienced housekeeper to join the housekeeping team, who care for this large country private household. You will report to the head housekeeper and work closely with the indoor team. You will need to be child and dog friendly but no direct duties relating to childcare.
Duties will include but not limited to:
- Detailed cleaning learning to care for special finishes.
- Laundry duties, washing, ironing, steaming, pressing.
- All aspects of general housekeeping, cleaning, tidying, organising.
- Changing bed linen, making beds, cleaning of bathrooms.
- Evening turndown service
The role is 5 days of the week out of 7. A working rota is in place, so some occasional weekend working will be required. 2 days off weekly. Previous experience in a private house, 5* or boutique hotel or yacht is desirable.
