- Lead data migration from legacy systems to the new ERP platform, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing legacy systems during and after the ERP integration.
- Conduct data cleansing, validation, and manipulation using advanced Excel, Power Query, and basic SQL.
- Develop and maintain dynamic business intelligence reports and dashboards using Power BI.
- Collaborate with teams across the organization to understand and fulfill data requirements, aligning with business goals and ERP capabilities.
- Utilize Python for advanced data processing and automation tasks.
- Analyse data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Train and support end-users on data management, reporting tools, and the transition between legacy systems and the new ERP system.
- Uphold data governance and security standards across all systems.
Essential role related knowledge, technical skills, qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in data migration and support for both new ERP implementations and legacy systems.
- Advanced skills in Access, Excel, Power Query, and basic SQL.
- Proficiency in creating reports and dashboards using Power BI.
- Knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills.
- Effective communication skills for translating complex data concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Prior experience in the engineering or manufacturing sector is beneficial.
- Excellent teamwork and project management abilities.
