Gleeson Recruitment Group are working with a leading manufacturing organisation based in Wolverhampton who are looking for a Data Analyst to join them in a time of growth.
This role is key to the business as they implement and integrate to a new ERP system and will be responsible in ensuring the seamless integration while also providing ongoing support for the legacy systems. The role will involve data manipulation, migration, and the development of business intelligence reports to aid in decision-making. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the integrity and functionality of both the new and existing data systems.
Role responsibilities:
- Lead data migration from legacy systems to the new ERP platform, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing legacy systems during and after the ERP integration.
- Conduct data cleansing, validation, and manipulation using advanced Excel, Power Query, and basic SQL.
- Develop and maintain dynamic business intelligence reports and dashboards using Power BI.
- Collaborate with teams across the organization to understand and fulfill data requirements, aligning with business goals and ERP capabilities.
- Utilize Python for advanced data processing and automation tasks.
- Analyse data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Train and support end-users on data management, reporting tools, and the transition between legacy systems and the new ERP system.
- Uphold data governance and security standards across all systems.
Experience with ERP systems previously and Python is Key.
