** Hybrid working – 3 days office, 2 days home – Normanton **
As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in extracting insights from our client’s data to drive informed decision-making and optimise business processes.
Key duties & responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data analysis tasks
- Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyse data from various databases
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to visualise key metrics and trends
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis to support business needs and identify opportunities for improvement
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and provide analytical support for projects and initiatives
We are keen to speak with Data professionals who possess the following skills & experience:
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights
- Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools for data visualisation, such as QlikView
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
