Job Purpose:
To develop and deliver ad hoc analyses, and data solutions and dashboards. Data analyst will be the go-to person for Supply Chain teams in support of data and productivity requests.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for delivering ad-hoc analyses and data solutions (e.g. Tableau dashboards)
- Support data management and analysis of data across operations
- Is the day-to-day contact for the Supply Chain team data requirements
- Actively detects and suggests enhancement and evolution to dashboards, in order to automate delivery of recurring business requests and drive users towards data insights self-service
- Consult with data engineer when ad hoc analysis or Tableau developments cannot be efficiently served with existing data sets.
- Work alongside business functions (Planning, Inventory management) as the go-to person to support business team with data and productivity requests.
- Responsible for analysing data to provide insights and recommendations.
- Create, improve and maintain data streams from new and existing systems
Qualification & Experience:
- Competent in writing and debugging / fixing SQL and Python data analysis scripts.
- Experienced in designing Tableau dashboards.
- Know when to reach out for data engineer or architectural support/decisions.
- Understand the importance of aligning data architecture IT data engineer before implementing solutions.
- Identifies and refrains from building over complex/hard to maintain/not robust solutions.
- Good knowledge of Excel for data analytics (e.g. power platform, Tableau).
- Strong appetite to develop SQL language skills & scripted analytics (Pandas with Python)
- Attention to details and logical thinking - interest in debugging and finding the underlying cause of issues to get the formula 100% right
- Customer oriented with desire to solve problems for the benefit of business usage, sense of prioritization based on importance to business.
