Job Outline:
Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst to join their well-established global manufacturing business. You will be taking data from various sources, majority manual, some system generated and using Excel to create graphs and analysis for trends to support the client s activities.
Job Description:
- Input data on to excel and then create formulas to show a percentage of goods.
- Collect information, then input the data into an Excel document. Use this data to produce a stacked bar chart to highlight number of audit fails and passes.
- Monitor upcoming meetings and prepare data for those meetings. Create events using calendar for meetings if they are needed.
- Communicate and email data to senior managers or those who need it.
- Copy and paste from one Excel sheet to another. Use multiple excel sheets and merge sets of data. Create pivot tables and extract that data into Level 1 Pareto charts (Fault Area) and Level 2 Pareto charts (Faults). Clearly present the data using PowerPoint.
- Update the weekly goods yield trend graphs by running a report and inputting data into Excel then updating the existing trend charts.
- Attend meetings and take notes.
- Using notes taken from weekly meetings, update the presentation notes so that they are more relevant and then brief out the updated notes to those in attendance.
- Keep track of masterclass attendance and update a KPI sheet using Excel - which is then used to present to the senior teams on their attendance of Masterclass.
- Receive data from senior managers in order to update process loss graphs on Excel. Display the graphs in presentations and in preparation for yield action plan meetings.
- Navigate file explorer and save files in relevant folders in order to keep documents as organised as possible.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role.
- Advanced Excel skills essential.
- Inquisitive nature.
- Understanding Questions Behind the Questions.
- Computer literate with good knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent inter-personal, oral and written communication skills, timekeeping and organisation
