 We are seeking a highly skilled Data Automation Specialistto join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing automation solutions using Microsoft tools such as Excel macros, VBS, Power-BI reporting and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technologies. Your expertise in data analysis methodologies will be essential in bridging gaps in system data flows and optimizing operational processes on a global scale. The preferred locations for this position are Herndon, VA, Houston, TX,  Fort Lauderdale, FL or Toronto, Canada. This will be a hybrid role.

 

Key Responsibilities:
•    Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using Microsoft Excel macros, VBS, and other scripting languages to streamline data processing and analysis tasks.
•    Design, implement, and maintain RPA solutions to automate repetitive tasks and help our departments become faster and leaner.
•    Work closely with our Data Analyst and other stakeholders to define automation requirements, prioritize initiatives, and deliver scalable solutions.
•    Provide technical expertise and support to users, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the smooth operation of automated processes.
•    Create reports of existing data in Power-BI and research possibilities to improve our data quality.
•    Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Data Automation and RPA to drive innovation and continuous improvement.


Qualifications:
•    A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
•    Minimum of 3 years of experience in coding with Microsoft tools such as Excel macros, VBS, and familiarity with RPA technologies.
•    Strong understanding of data analysis methodologies and proficiency in data manipulation, transformation, and visualization techniques.
•    Experience with RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere) and workflow automation tools is seen as a huge plus.
•    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyse complex data sets and identify opportunities for automation.
•    Good communication and collaboration skills in a global company, with the ability to interact with stakeholders from different cultures and at all levels of the organization.
