Data Engineer

Description:

One of our clients is on a journey to move to an AWS S3 Datalake model, building out new pipelines and automating the data journey across the estate, using Lambda to process data.

Throughout 2024 and 2025 the department intends to continue the move to AWS and away from Snowflake, whilst potentially adopting newer tools such as Airflow and Streamsets and move to a more DevOps focused methodology.

In order to enhance the capability and efficiency of the existing team our client require Data Engineers with AWS, S3, SQL, Python specific experience who can lead on migrating data into S3, replicate what is being built within the wider Group, fix current challenges with what has already been engineered, and implement controls for the data.
