Data Engineering / Tech Lead - Azure, Databricks, Python - 2 year Contract - 2 Positions available

I'm looking for a Data Engineering Lead for a 2 year contract for a company specialising in Waste Management.

Key Skills:

• 5+ years in software development (various languages) with expertise in data structures, algorithms, Data Platforms, Datalakes, and Business Intelligence.
• Experience as a data engineer: creating data pipelines, using tools like Pyspark, Spark SQL, Scala, Airflow, etc.
• 1+ year in a technical leadership role.
• Proficiency in AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, and Big Data services (EMR, Databricks, Synapse, HDInsight, Kinesis, Snowflake, etc.).
• Skilled in Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and office applications.
• Relevant system admin certification.
• Strong problem-solving ability and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Agile environment experience, team player with self-initiative.
• Results-driven and quality-focused.
