Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Data Entry Clerk. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately inputting and updating data into our computer systems. This is a clerical role that requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently.
Duties:
- Enter and update data into computer systems with speed and accuracy
- Verify data by comparing it to source documents
- Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
- Perform regular data backups to ensure data integrity
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned
Skills:
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Proficient in Data Entry and typing
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Familiarity with computerized systems and software, including Google Suite and Microsoft Office
- Previous experience in clerical or administrative roles is preferred
- Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus
