Leading Wiltshire based business is looking to bring in a Data Lead/ Senior SQL Developer to lead a small team of Data Integration Developers.
It is an exciting opportunity to work with new technology platforms such as Microsoft AIS/ADF and Snowflake, you will help shape the future delivery of data and integration working closely with our business stakeholders.
Role:
- Responsible for line management of the team, including mentoring and task management to manage the work pipeline
- You will monitor capacity and help develop how the business meet future demand
Skills/Experience:
- Data Integration Expertise: Demonstrated broad experience in Data Integration, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of integrating diverse datasets and sources.
- SQL Development Proficiency: Possess a strong background in SQL development, with the ability to design, optimise, and troubleshoot complex queries for enhanced performance.
- Development Lifecycle Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the development lifecycle, illustrating an understanding of the end-to-end process from conceptualisation to deployment.
- Leadership Aptitude: Proven leadership experience or a demonstrated appetite and capability to manage priorities and provide support to the team. We value individuals who can lead by example and inspire collaborative efforts.
- Communication and Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills with a keen ability for stakeholder management.
- Agile Methodology Proficiency: A solid understanding of Agile methodologies, emphasising the ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
Any Azure/ Snowflake skills is a bonus.
