As a Data Solicitor, you will play a pivotal role in contributing to the firm's reputation for delivering innovative and strategic legal solutions to clients in the rapidly evolving fields of, data, Privacy & cybersecurirty as well as commercial & consumer and technology.
In this role, you will be at the forefront of advising clients on a global scale, formulating robust privacy strategies, and addressing a diverse array of data protection and privacy issues. Your responsibilities will extend to conducting thorough data protection and privacy audits, efficiently managing data subject rights requests, and adeptly handling data breaches and incidents related to cybersecurity.
Additionally, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with extra-EEA data transfers, offering guidance on regulatory matters and investigations, addressing marketing and cookie-related challenges, and proactively updating data protection and privacy practices to align with evolving standards.
Ideal candidate:
- Qualified solicitor with 4-8 years experience
- Strong background in Data, Privacy & Cyber, Commercial and Technology law
- Experience in providing strategic advice on data governance, GDPR compliance, and international data transfers.
- eagerness to build client relationships
